A septuagenarian has been caught with almost 3,000 boxes of allegedly stolen LEGO sets.
Richard Siegel71, is accused of being the mastermind of an organized retail theft scheme, with the price of the allegedly stolen boxes ranging from $20 to $1,000 each.
As officers raided his Los Angeles home, several potential buyers showed up, police said.
Police also arrested a 39-year-old man, Blanca Gudinoaccused of stealing LEGO sets from retailers and leaving them at Siegel’s home, CBS News reports.
