A vast collection of luxury cars, rare sneakers and sports memorabilia, accumulated over 25 years by the Canadian businessman Nadal Mileswill be auctioned at RM Sotheby’s.
The collection, estimated to be worth $60 million (around £47 million), includes five classic red Ferraris, a Michael Schumacher track suit and a pair of Nike “Moon Shoes” bought for a record $437,500 (about £343,500), the BBC reports.
Other highlights include 100 iconic sneakers, like the original Air Jordans signed by Michael Jordanand a 2008 Bugatti Veyron previously owned by Simon Cowell.
Nadal, former CEO of MDC Partners Inc, said he is reducing the collection, which was once housed in his private museum in Toronto, to “enjoy the fruits of my labor and try to make the world a better place.” Proceeds from the auction will be donated to charities.
