And finally… the house that you built there
Russian Hill Neighborhood in San Francisco
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman’s $27 million (roughly £21 million) San Francisco mansion is allegedly riddled with problems, according to a lawsuit filed by Altman’s legal team.
The luxurious residence located in San Francisco’s Russian Hill neighborhood was once considered the most expensive in San Francisco, boasting a “Batcave” garage with a rotating platform, infinity pool and private garden. However, the lawsuit claims that these features suffer from widespread shoddy workmanship, including a leaky pool that caused extensive water damage and mold.
The lawsuit alleges that developer Troon Pacific misrepresented the condition of the property and failed to hire qualified contractors. Altman is seeking unspecified damages, with repairs estimated at more than $4 million (approximately £3.1 million). The San Francisco Standard reports.

This is not Troon Pacific’s first legal battle, as the developer was recently ordered to repay $48.1 million (approximately £37.2 million) to investors in another failed project.
