Arsenal’s finances are extremely healthy as they return to the Champions League
We as a club earn £253.7m from the CL and PL.
Of that amount, £174.7m went towards finishing second in the PL and just £200,000 less than Man City, who we know finished first.
The club had the highest number of viewers and earned the highest amount of money from television rights during the season.
Reaching the CL quarter-finals generated revenue of £79m.
We now have the largest number of sponsors, totaling 25 at the end of the season, both large and small, who are signed up for the future.
Add all of the monetary values above together with any sales made of transferred players and we can see what a powerful position the club finds itself in.
Surely, finally, gone are the days when clubs like Chelsea, United, Liverpool and City could outbid us in the transfer market and, along with just the interest to be paid in relation to the Emirates stadium, we can go out and buy whoever MA wants . ?
It’s just a reminder of how important the CL’s top four places are, where finances are involved and why clubs target those coveted places at the start of each season… except, of course, if you support that Middlesex team, which is the main aim each season is to ensure the real North London club don’t win the PL, regardless of what it costs them in lost revenue!!
You agree not to commit any personal abuse to others Arsenal fans. Everyone can have their own opinions, even if you disagree with them. IT DOESN’T COST ANYTHING TO BE POLITE TO OTHER ARSENAL FANS.
