CryptoWatch: US Strategic Bitcoin Reserves, Trump’s Crypto Future, Bybit’s New Features: Tech: Tech Times
The US strategic Bitcoin reserves are coming, speculated as a plan by presidential candidate Donald J. Trump, who led last week’s major crypto news on Tech Times’ CryptoWatch. It was later confirmed when Trump appeared at the Bitcoin Conference in Nashville that there would be a massive focus on cryptocurrencies for the US if he were elected.

Additionally, the world’s second largest cryptocurrency exchange, Bybit, has introduced two major new features designed to enhance the experience of traders.
Trump’s US Strategic Bitcoin Reserves Are Reportedly Coming
Earlier last week, it was revealed that Donald Trump… appear as a guest speaker for the Bitcoin Conference 2024, and will reveal a future where the US will rely more heavily on cryptocurrencies. This is in the form of a US Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, which would add more of the major cryptocurrencies to the country’s holdings and move away from its reliance on traditional assets.
It was revealed by Forbes that Trump’s presence at the BTC event would signal his intention to focus heavily on Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies going forward, after his previous term saw the sector thrive.
The current assets of the United States are largely based on gold reserves worth $600, while Bitcoin reserves amount to 212,000, or only $15 billion.

Nearly a week later, Trump made an appearance at the Bitcoin Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, and here, the Republican presidential candidate promised a “cryptographic future” for the United States. If Trump were to return to the Oval Office, there would be significant support for cryptocurrencies, making America the “crypto capital” of the world.
It was also revealed that Trump will be putting a spotlight on Bitcoin, focusing on creating a “reserve” for the United States, but it has not been confirmed whether these will be strategic reserves.
Second NBC NewsTrump has also promised to remove the current SEC Chairman, Gary Gensler, and others who have impeded the regulation of cryptocurrencies in the country.
Bybit’s Latest Features on Crypto Platform
The world’s second largest cryptocurrency platform has added new features to its cryptocurrency exchange platformwith Bybit proudly sharing it after its biennial keynote speech. Bybit’s platform is known to have seen a whopping 37 million users trading on its web3-based platform.
The first notable feature of Bybit is Block trading which will be available with no fees, focused on expanding its P2P (peer-to-peer) functionality and will focus on large-scale assets. It will support multiple cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies such as USD, PHP, THB, IDR, and USDT.
On the other hand, there would also be a spot liquidity matching program available on Bybit that will allow Market Makers to be easily connected to projects within the community. Premium Liquidity Providers would also see a highlight on the platform under the list of recommended projects for greater liquidity and experiences.
