DeFi and NFTs Have Wall Street Snapping Its Fingers — TradingView
Ethereum, the place where DeFi and NFTs run on smart contracts, now rubs shoulders with the big dogs of Wall Street where its big brother – Bitcoin – regularly gives investors a good idea of their portfolios.
The second-largest cryptocurrency made its way to nine exchange-traded funds, or ETFs, in July 2024 when they were given the green light by the Securities and Exchange Commission. The move comes seven months after the launch of Bitcoin spot ETFs.
Packaging a set of ETFs with real ETH/USD This is another important step in the journey of cryptocurrencies to the financial mainstream. Major issuers expected to lead this push include Fidelity, Franklin Templeton, Invesco, 21Shares and VanEck.
