Dick and Angel Strawbridge have ‘doubled’ finances since Escape to the Chateau axed as they report £4m earnings
Dick Strawbridge and Angel Adoree gained a following after the success of the series Escape to the Chateau, which saw them move to a chateau in France, which they turned into a thriving business.
Although they enjoyed nine seasons of the Channel 4 show, their documented journey came to an end in 2022, the family are still very much present in the public eye.
In fact, it was revealed that the couple managed to double their earnings since the series ended.
The Sun reports that the couple, aged 64 and 46, have more than £4 million in the bank. The publication reported that the latest accounts filed with Companies House revealed the exorbitant amount.
Taking advantage of the fame provided by the program, the couple began using their website and social media channels, as well as publishing books, DVDs and more.
They are also set to launch their UK tour later this year, traveling to different areas together with their two children, Arthur and Dorothy.

It happens shortly after your US tour earlier this year. Speaking recently about their visit to the UK, the pair admitted they had some concerns about the children.
Speaking to Virgin Radio, Adoree announced: “We discovered that both kids can come with us for the entire ride, literally seconds ago!”
However, the news sparked concern among parents, as Strawbridge admitted: “Arthur is starting college in September, a big school, and we were a little worried because he hasn’t even started yet.”
Speaking about his children’s unique lifestyle, he added: “We never had any problems with Dorothy and Arthur when they were at primary school because the headmistress always says, ‘It’s education, take them away, they’ll learn a lot traveling around the place!’ “
Strawbridge admitted, however, “We were worried about high school, but he said yes, let’s go for it!”
Adoree, 46, continued: “We are holding a festival next summer, the Jack of All Trades Festival,” expressing her excitement for the new experience.
She continued: “We’re in this new era now where the kids are growing up, we still have our wedding and events business, we’re writing books, we have our podcast, we’re doing tours.
“There’s a lot going on and it’s all really exciting, but having these little nuggets of things that will also take us outside of our comfort zone is great.”
