dWallet integrates Aptos for DeFi and multi-chain gaming
The dWallet network recently announced its integration with the Aptos blockchain, introducing dWallet’s inventive Zero Trust Protocols (ZTP) to the Aptos system.
The goal of this integration is to bridge the gap between new DeFi, gaming applications and traditional blockchain networks.
Using dWallet’s cutting-edge cryptographic architecture, users will be able to transact native Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) on the Aptos chain without bridging or token wrapping processes.
“Integrating dWallet’s decentralized, non-collusive building block with the fast and secure Aptos blockchain enables ZTPs,” noted Omer Sadika, co-founder of dWallet. “It would also help expand the horizons of DeFi and gaming protocols within the Aptos ecosystem. Such a step represents a significant step towards dWallet Network’s vision of Zero Trust and a multi-chain future.
An important aspect of this integration is the 2PC-MPC protocol designed by dWallet Network, which is an advanced threshold cryptography method that allows ECDSA signatures to be generated without collusion.
However, the implications of this partnership go beyond simple technological advancements. dWallet Network and Aptos are poised to usher in a new wave of DeFi and gaming applications marked by secure and efficient multi-chain interactions that were previously hampered by separate blockchain ecosystems.
“The dWallet team conducted pioneering research in cryptography to introduce the innovative 2PC-MPC protocol, enabling multi-chain Zero Trust,” said Professor Benny Pinkas, Researcher at Aptos. “I’m excited that developers in the Aptos ecosystem will be able to develop ZTPs that work seamlessly across Web3 in a cryptographically secure manner.”
