Kansas candidates filed updated campaign finance reports with the Kansas Government Ethics Commission on July 29 as Election Day approaches.

Any candidate who receives or spends more than $1,000 must file a report, and if they spend less, they must submit an affidavit.

The reports cover all donations collected and expenditures from January 1 through July 25, with another report on “last-minute contributions” from July 26 through July 31, due August 1.

The report includes detailed information on donations and expenditures so far this year, as well as cash on hand at the end of the period.
