Personnel and Finance Committee Meeting Planned – Brainerd Dispatch
Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under the byline “team.” Often the “staff” byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and that require little or no reporting. This byline is sometimes used when a news story includes multiple authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from multiple sources. If external sources are used, this will be noted in the story.
Hi, I’m Dispatch Brainerd. I started work a few days before Christmas 1881 and became a daily newspaper two years later. I’ve gone through many changes over the years, but what’s never changed is my commitment to the community and local journalism.
