Priscilla Presley Sues Former Business Partners for Elder Abuse
4:30 PM PT — Brigitte Kruse and her legal team told TMZ… “We cannot respond because the attorney has not received a copy of the lawsuit. We have alerted Ms. Presley’s attorneys that we do not have a copy of this lawsuit, but they have not responded.”
Priscilla Presleyis suing several former business partners… alleging she was a victim of elder financial abuse.
TMZ has obtained legal documents filed by Priscilla Presley’s attorney. Martyr Singer Thursday, alleging that a woman named Brigitte Kruse and several others took advantage of her and scammed her out of more than $1 million.
Presley claims Kruse is a “con artist and pathological liar” who has taken control of PP’s finances, forcing it into “a form of indentured servitude.”
Priscilla says they met in 2021 when Brigitte was running a sales business Elvis memorabilia through an auction house, and they struck up a relationship. Priscilla says she allowed Brigitte to take advantage of her.
According to the lawsuit, Kruse convinced Presley that her former financial advisors were deceitful or incompetent…and then tricked her into signing contracts and forming companies that allowed her and her associates to receive a staggering 80 percent of her income.
At the same time, Priscilla says the group left her only minority shares in the companies they created and profited from her name, image and likeness… pointing specifically to last year’s controversial biopic “Priscilla” — money from which Priscilla claims she was also embezzled.
Among the many allegations… Presley says her former business partners botched a deal in which Priscilla would have received an equity stake in a cosmetics company and instead accepted a $300,000 upfront payment — which she claims they deposited into bank accounts they controlled.
She also claims they withdrew smaller amounts from an account for Priscilla’s son. Navarone without authorization, charged him moving and storage expenses and attempted to make agreements and deals related to Lisa Marie Presleyproperty of ‘s after her tragic death.
This isn’t the first legal issue between these two — as we previously reported, Kruse sued Presley for breach of contract — claiming she came in to help Presley avoid bankruptcy in 2022, but was abruptly cut off by Presley last year.
We were told at the time that Priscilla cut ties with her after discovering Kruse was misappropriating her funds… similar allegations to those now made in this lawsuit.
Presley is suing Kruse for more than $1 million in damages and wants the contracts he signed with Kruse and the other defendants voided.
