Women’s+ Network teamed up with Simpson Wood last week to raise awareness about effective financial planning

Hosting another successful event, the Club’s award-winning Women’s+ Network welcomed three special guests from Simpson Wood to discuss all things savings and pensions – as well as the importance of educating the younger generation.
Providing a welcoming space for open discussion and a general informative evening, the session highlighted simple ways in which everyone can maximize their finances, including consolidating pensions, making additional pension contributions and keeping a record of expenses .
Founded in 1880, Simpson Wood has been offering a range of tax advice and financial planning services to businesses and individuals for many years and has worked closely with the Club over the past three seasons. As a company, they are committed to providing expert support, advice and high-quality information to help people achieve financial freedom.
In the current climate and cost of living crisis, the Club felt it was vital to offer an educational session to members of our Women’s+ Network and we are grateful for the support of Simpson Wood in allowing us to do this.
After another successful meeting, one participant commented:
“This was a great session and it is good to see the Club offering a range of educational opportunities to network members.
“Financial education is often lacking in schools and it’s not always something people feel comfortable talking about, so it was great to have the opportunity to ask questions in a supportive environment.”
