Teresa Giudice’s Daughter Jokes About Handling Daddy Joe’s Finances

The last episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey showed Teresa Giudice – and her family – emotional like her daughter Gabriella Giudice left for college.

Most of the Sunday, May 19 episode of RHONJ focused on Gabriella, 20, preparing for her move to the University of Michigan. In one scene, Gabriella detailed her college plans while talking to her father, Joe Giudiceon FaceTime.

“I’m taking an economics course in the first semester. So I’m excited to learn about it because that’s what I’m planning on majoring in,” Gabriella told Joe, 51. Gia Giudice chimed in, adding, “She’s going to take care of your finances, dad. She will make sure everything is put away.

Gabriella added: “That’s what I’ll do. I could handle people’s money.”

In her confessional, Teresa, 52, revealed that her ex-husband is not helping pay for Gabriella’s education at the University of Michigan, but her current husband, Luís “Louie” RuelasIt is.

“Yes, Joe is not helping. No, he can’t right now,” the RHONJ star admitted. “Joe is still trying to get his life back together in the Bahamas, but everything is fine. You know, I’m grateful that I can afford it.

Elsewhere in the episode, fans watched Teresa and her family have one last dinner with Gabriella before she officially moves away to college.

In addition to Gia, 23, and Gabriella, Teresa and Joe share daughters Milania, 18, and Audriana, 14. Both college-aged girls appear to have pursued careers somewhat related to theirs. Parents’ previous legal issues.

Teresa and José they both “went” to prison after they were convicted of fraud in 2015. Teresa served 11 months in prison and was released in December 2015. After returning home, Joe served his three-year sentence. Upon his release in 2019, Joe was deported to his native Italy and has since moved permanently to the Bahamas. After her father was deported, Gia decided to pursue the path of criminal justice. She graduated from Rutgers University in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Gia originally worked at an immigration law firm while studying for the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT), but has been exploring other options such as corporate law.

“Gia got into immigration law because of what happened to her dad, but she’s still thinking about what kind of law she wants to get into,” Teresa said of her eldest daughter during an episode of RHONJ earlier this month. “She is very focused. I am a proud mother of four beautiful daughters.”
