Turkish Crypto Platform CEO Resigns Amid Global Pressure

The head of Turkey’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, BtcTurk, is stepping down after seven years at the helm as the company eyes overseas expansion.

Ozgur Guneri will step down as CEO while remaining a board member, BtcTurk Chairman Kerem Tibuk told Bloomberg by phone on Thursday. Tibuk, the company’s founder, will serve as interim CEO while the exchange focuses on its expansion, he said.
