What it’s really like to trade cryptocurrencies all day
A few lucky people have created generational wealth by trading the ups and downs of the crypto market. And some financial professionals have changed course to focus primarily on this area. But what is it like to exchange these coins on a daily basis? How do people choose which ones to buy? How do they analyze the pieces themselves? How do they obtain reliable information? And what’s it like, emotionally, to trade such a notoriously volatile asset? In this episode of Odd lots podcast, we speak with Julian Malinak. In his day job, Julian works in the health technology field. But the rest of the time, he searches the forums for the next 100-bagger. At one point, he had earned enough to retire. And then everything went poof. But he continues to work and try to improve his craft. Julian – who we found on the Odd lots Discord Server – explains what it does all day and how the market actually works from a trading perspective. This transcript has been lightly edited for clarity.
